Recourse on a Regulatory or Administrative Decision
Environmental Litigation

Principle

To either assist a company or a local authority in the event of an environmental litigation.

Our means

  • To clearly understand the nature of the prejudice suffered as well as its economic implications both to the company and the local authority;
  • To quantify the prejudice in terms of :
    • Additional costs, either already or about to be engaged: pollution cleaning, necessary investments to avoid pollution
    • Damage to brand image: negative media repercussions, brand image restoration costs, promotional investments…

Results

- Drawing up of a financial and economic report to support legal argumentation from our client’s legal advisors
- Legal counselling of our client during all proceedings (experts reports, courts of law…)

We helped them

- Ville d’Angoulême : cancellation of the Magellis project due to soil pollution by the SNPE
- Ville de Metz : litigation linked to the pollution of the River Moselle both by Novacarb and Solvay industrial plants
