There are several French and European administrative bodies regulating the activity of private companies.
Decisions from those authorities can be disputed before a Court of Law:
- French administrative regulatory bodies such as the Commission Bancaire (French Banking Commission) or the Commission de Contrôle des Assurances (French Insurance Control Commission) can be taken to the Cour d’Appel Administrative de Paris (Paris’ Administrative Court of Appeal).
- French independent regulatory authorities such as the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (French Financial Markets Authority or AMF) or the Conseil de la Concurrence (French competition regulator) can be taken to the Cour d’Appel de Paris (Paris’ Court of Appeal)
- The European Commission can be taken to the Luxemburg’s Court of Law.
We can appeal either against or in defence of a decision from :
French administrative regulatory bodies such as the Commission Bancaire or the Commission de Contrôle des Assurances
French independent authorities such as the AMF or the Conseil de la Concurrence
The European Commission
And on litigations concerning regulations linked to environmental issues.
