SORGEM Evaluation acted as a financial advisor for Veolia, for the valuation of certain intangible assets in relation to the combination of its activities with Suez

After signing a combination agreement on May 14, 2021, allowing the merger of Veolia and Suez, the stock market regulator in France (AMF) has published on January 10, 2022, the final result of the public offering initiated by Veolia for the acquisition of Suez shares: Veolia owns 86.22% of Suez shares and voting rights. Veolia has then announced, on January 31, 2022, the disposal of certain activities (the “New Suez” perimeter) to a consortium of investors (Meridiam, GIP, Caisse des dépôts and CNP Assurances).

SORGEM Evaluation has acted as Veolia financial advisor for the valuation of certain intangible assets transferred in relation to these transactions. We have implemented several methodologies (relief from royalty, cost approach, etc.) depending on their relevance for each asset considered.
