Morning session “When magistrates carry out evaluations: quantifying damages and benefits from breaches”
Claire Karsenti, Partner at Sorgem Evaluation, co-hosted the morning session on September 17, 2024, alongside Elisabeth Avril, Specialized Assistant at the National Financial Prosecutor’s Office (PNF), organized by the SFEV.
This session provided an overview of practices for evaluating damages and benefits derived from breaches, linking them to the “methodological guidelines on the repair of economic damages” published in January 2024 by the Paris Court of Appeal and the “guidelines for implementing the judicial public interest agreement” issued on January 16, 2023, by the National Financial Prosecutor’s Office (PNF).
