Fairness opinions and market transactions – Lecture at IMA
Maurice Nussenbaum, chairman of Sorgem Evaluation and APEI (professional association of independent experts) , Thomas Hachette, Partner at Sorgem Evaluation and Guillain Fournier from the Public offers Division of the AMF (French Financial markets Authority), prepared a presentation on fairness opinions and market transactions at IMA, on June 26, 2019.
Maurice Nussenbaum and Guillain Fournier presented the context of fairness opinions, the work to be performed by the independent expert, the control from the AMF and the discussions between the AMF and the independent expert. A comparison with fairness opinion in the US was also presented.
