The use of VDD in small caps

First appearing in the early 2000s, financial Vendor Due Diligence (VDD) quickly became established in large and upper-mid cap transactions. Its advantages in the sale process (especially when competitive) are well known: structuring and clarity of financial information, anticipation of potential difficulties, speed of the review phases and therefore of the positioning of pre-selected investors.
