Morning session « Criminal financial appraisal »
On September 28, 2023, the CNEJEF (Compagnie Nationale des Experts de Justice en Finance), chaired by Claire Karsenti, Partner at Sorgem Evaluation, co-organized with the CNEJGE and the CNECJ, a morning session dedicated to financial expertise in criminal matters in the Pierre Drai auditorium of the Paris Judicial Court. During the morning session, experts had the opportunity to exchange views with representatives of the Parquet National Financier, the financial section of the investigation and the “section J2 criminalité financière organisée” of the Tribunal Judiciaire de Paris, as well as with the financial advisor to the Chancellerie. Maurice Nussenbaum, Chairman of Sorgem Evaluation and Honorary Chairman of the CNEJEF, spoke on the valuation of corporate rights, companies and intangible assets, and Claire Karsenti on the quantification of the benefits derived from a breach of contract, notably in the context of Public Interest Judicial Agreements (CJIP).
